This blog started as a motivational tool for us to reach a $500k turnover in our business in 91 weeks.
Well, it’s not ‘our’ business anymore – it’s mine….so the goal posts have been moved. I am proud of my achievements so far, but at this stage it has turned into $500k and counting for my new business life.
Now it’s only me I have moved the Goal date to 30th June 2011. So I’ve added another year. You know what? It doesn’t matter. The point is, I’m not letting my goal go, I’m being realistic with moving the date. If I was still trying to reach it over the next few weeks I would be so very disappointed.
The businesses I am involved in, include a serious ‘day job’, a retail store, an online store, blogging and other online ventures I am exploring.
Although this blog was started at the end of 2008, I am yet to really add anything, as I felt so disillusioned with the whole process after my business partner left.
To date I have turned over in excess of $250k, and I am proud of that given I am a sole entity who relies on a couple of part time staff and some outsourcing. So I will more than 1/2 way to our original goal by the original date – yeah me!!!
